I am an independent Victorian candidate running for the Federal Senate. I have found it rather frustrating to find a forum that allows open discussion of policies and proposals for other than the main parties. To address this I would like to invite you to go to http://www.webcauldron.com/senate to assess the policies I will be standing for in the up coming election. I feel this is an important part of the process of Democracy and hope even if I am not successful, that the policies I have suggested may be brought into the public debate to add diversity and a new point of view to the discussion that I hope will add to our great country's future and success.

May I also suggest you look at http://www.comparepolicies.com.au , a site which is a-political and in my opinion unbiased where you can compare the policies of over 800 candidates in the current federal election

Anonymous,

I am having just as much trouble finding information about some of the Senate candidates. If all else fails, you could always try writing to them - their details are here on the AEC website.
